Transist 2600 represents the most advanced type of transitional ryegrass available anywhere. Alone, you can use Transist as an overseeding grass in the South. Highly recommended for use in over seeding southern golf course fairways and roughs. It is also excellent for overseeding sports fields either used straight or blended with perennial ryegrass. Transist 2600 germinates faster than perennial ryegrass, particularly in cooler conditions. Transist 2600 has been bred to disappear smoothly and quickly in the late spring as bermudagrass is ready to grow. When blended with perennial rye, the Transist 2600 will exit first opening up the turf canopy to sunlight which benefits bermudagrass. Germinates within 4-6 days.
